Built 1960 as Atlanta International Raceway, later Atlanta Motor Speedway, reconfigured to a high-banked quad-oval in 2022, and renamed EchoPark Speedway in 2025. Hosts NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series races in Hampton, GA.
Atlanta International Raceway opened in 1960, built by investors who wanted a speedway to rival Indianapolis about 20 miles south of Atlanta. Financial trouble followed, and the track went through bankruptcy in 1971. Bruton Smith bought it in 1990 and renamed it Atlanta Motor Speedway. A 1997 reconfiguration turned it into a quad-oval, and a 2021 rebuild added steeper banking that produces superspeedway-style pack racing. The track took the EchoPark Speedway name in 2025 under a sponsorship deal.
