Barber Motorsports Park is an 880 acres racing facility in Birmingham, Alabama. It was built by George W. Barber, and includes the 230,000-square-foot Barber Vintage Motorsport Museum. It has been the site of the IndyCar Series' Grand Prix of Alabama since 2010.
Birmingham businessman George W. Barber built Barber Motorsports Park, which opened in 2003 on 880 acres just east of the city. The 2.38-mile road course winds through rolling hills and heavy landscaping that has earned it the nickname "the Augusta National of Motorsports." The grounds include the 230,000-square-foot Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum. The Barber Vintage Festival has been held every October since 2005, and IndyCar's Grand Prix of Alabama has raced at the park since 2010.
