Huset's Speedway is a 3/8-mile dirt oval in Brandon, South Dakota, which broke ground in 1953 and opened in 1954. It closed in 2017 and reopened in 2020 under owner Tod Quiring, who restored the Huset's name after it was briefly called Badlands Motor Speedway. It has hosted the World of Outlaws, the All Star Circuit of Champions and USAC midgets and sprints.
Farmer and businessman Til Huset carved the track out of a soybean field in 1953 near Brandon, South Dakota, and it opened in 1954. In 1958 he sold it to the Sioux Falls Stock Car Association, a group of drivers who ran the races for three decades. Weekly sprint car racing began in 1980, and the World of Outlaws first visited in 1983. The Rubin family ran the 3/8-mile dirt oval from 1988 to 2015; when Tony Stewart raced there in 2013, more than 10,000 fans packed the grounds. As Badlands Motor Speedway it got a $6 million renovation in 2016 before closing in 2017. It reopened in 2020 under its original name.
