Adams County Speedway is a half-mile banked dirt oval located at the Adams County Fairgrounds in Corning, Iowa, with roots stretching back to horse racing in 1888. Stock car racing began in earnest in the 1950s, and the track gained NASCAR sanction in 1984, making it one of the longest-running NASCAR-affiliated venues in the Midwest. Major upgrades added MUSCO lighting and expanded spectator facilities including elevated bleachers and VIP observation decks. Today the track runs weekly NASCAR-sanctioned competition from April through September across six divisions, including Modifieds, Stock Cars, B-Mods, Hobby Stocks, and Sport Compacts.
