About This Track
Florence Motor Speedway is a 0.4-mile asphalt oval in Timmonsville, South Carolina, which opened in 1982 and calls itself "The Diamond of the Southeast." It runs more than 40 events a year, with weekly Late Model Stock, Charger, Mini Stock, Legend Car, Bandolero and vintage divisions sanctioned by the URA. Headline races include the Pee Dee 225, South Carolina 250 and South Carolina 400, and the track hosts the CARS Racing Tour.
