Nashville Superspeedway is a 1.33-mile oval in Lebanon, Tennessee, about 30 miles east of downtown Nashville, with seating for roughly 25,000. It hosts the NASCAR Cup, O'Reilly Auto Parts and Craftsman Truck Series, and has also been a stop on the NTT IndyCar Series schedule. It is not the same track as Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
Dover Downs Entertainment and Gaylord Entertainment announced plans for a Nashville-area superspeedway in 1997, hoping to bring the NASCAR Cup Series to Middle Tennessee. The 1.33-mile concrete tri-oval near Lebanon opened in 2001 with IndyCar and NASCAR Busch Series races. Without a Cup date, crowds dwindled, and major racing left after 2011. The track sat mostly unused for nearly a decade until Dover announced in 2020 that the Cup Series was coming. The first Cup race ran in 2021, and Speedway Motorsports bought the track that year.
