About This Track
Newport Speedway is a 4/10-mile, 26-degree banked asphalt oval in Newport, Tennessee, nicknamed "Little Bristol" for its steep banking. Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, the track hosts weekly short-track racing and regional touring events, including the CARS Tour, drawing competitors from across eastern Tennessee and western North Carolina.
