About This Track
Yas Marina Circuit is a 5.281-kilometer (3.281-mile), 16-turn road course on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, designed by Hermann Tilke and opened in 2009. Racing runs from late afternoon into the evening under a permanent lighting system, and the track passes beneath a hotel. It hosts the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and seats about 60,000.
