About This Track
The Hungaroring is a 4.381-kilometer (2.722-mile), 14-turn road course in Mogyoród, near Budapest, Hungary. It opened in 1986 with the first Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix and seats about 70,000. Its tight, twisty layout has earned it the nickname "Monaco without the barriers," and overtaking is difficult in dry conditions.
